Event Media Consent & Release
Introduction
This Event Media Consent & Release applies to all Ledger Society events, retreats, masterminds, conferences, dinners, networking gatherings, educational sessions, and community experiences.
By attending any Ledger Society event, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
Photography and Recording
Ledger Society and its authorized representatives may photograph, film, record, livestream, or otherwise capture content during events.
Captured content may include:
- Photographs
- Video recordings
- Audio recordingsInterviews
- Testimonials
- Group photographs
- Event highlights
Grant of Permission
By attending an event, participants grant Ledger Society a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, adapt, and otherwise utilize event media containing their image, likeness, voice, name, or appearance.
Such usage may include:
- Website content
- Social media content
- Marketing campaigns
- Promotional materials
- Event recaps
- Press releases
- Digital publications
- Educational materials
- Community communications
No Compensation
Participants acknowledge that no compensation, royalties, fees, commissions, or other payments shall be due for the use of event media.
Member Privacy Requests
Ledger Society understands that certain members may have privacy concerns.
Members who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should notify Ledger Society before the event begins.
While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests, Ledger Society cannot guarantee complete exclusion from group photographs, event footage, or incidental recordings.
Ownership of Media
All photographs, videos, recordings, livestreams, interviews, and related materials created by or on behalf of Ledger Society shall remain the exclusive property of Ledger Society.
Participants may not commercially use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or publish event recordings without prior written permission.
Release of Liability
Participants release and discharge Ledger Society, its affiliates, representatives, employees, contractors, photographers, videographers, and partners from any claims arising from the use of event media, including claims relating to privacy, publicity rights, image rights, or similar matters, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
